Army listing for Argent Shroud


This is my army list for my Sisters army as it stands.  It is constantly evolving, and as I play different armies it changes.  I have many reasons for the troop choices I have made, and I know that there are those out there who do not agree with using the Sisters in close combat.  However I have found it to be very effective, notleast because it confuses your opponant who expects trench warfare.  I do not use combi-weapons due to the fact that it is a glorified boltgun, the flamer/meltagun part can only be fired once, then it is merely a boltgun, seems a bit pointless to me, I find it better to arm my characters with a plama pistol, which although short range, has an AP of 1 which means no one will save that, not even a Terminator!   All of my normal trooper squads have a heavy flamer as it is mobile and brutally effective.  I have a heavy flamer retributor squad as they are then mobile, and another which is static with the multi meltas and heavy bolters.  This gives me the opportunity to wade in with a  heavy weapon, and kick butt......  Instead of having a squad with no heavy fire power unless it stays immobile, I have squads that can advance if I wish and still fire mucho flames!  I give krak grenades as I fight alot of Imperial Guard, and a krak grenade on the back of a tank can inflict serious damage in the close combat phase, which a boltgun cannot.  Anyways, as I say it is constantly changing depending on the army I fight, when I fight a total tank army, I change the heavy flamers in Squad Phoenix to multimeltas and the heavy bolters in Squad Eos to multimeltas also.  You get the idea I am sure......Anyways, enough wittering, here is the listings............
