Army List for the
Order of the Argent Shroud

This is my Sisters of Battle Army as it stands.
At present it is only small, but when the codex is released I can expand it no end.  They have become an army in their own right.  Something I have wanted since I began to collect them.  They now have a heavy weapons squad, and I am led to believe, will be allowed a dreadnought.  Finally the recognition they deserve.

The Sisters of Battle are a beautiful army.  It is nice to see women who are more than capable of holding their own in a fight!  They have similar statistics to the Space Marines, yet have not been mutated to a point where they are no longer human.  (I have had a discussion with a gentleman about this remark, and I stand by it, if you think you can convince me otherwise then feel free to try)  They are almost perfect fighting machines, honed to this point by sheer hard work and determination.
A Sister of Battle will never turn against her Emperor, he is a God to them, and they will serve him with unerring loyalty until the day they die.........................what other army can say that?   Space Marines have turned to Chaos, as have Imperial Guard, but the Sisters of Battle stand firm, ready to defend against all enemies, even if they are Imperial.  They are the Ecclesiarchy's police force, and stand no heresy, or wrong-doing....so beware, they may be female, but they don't give you a head start!

I am still in decision mode over the new game, that is why it has taken so long to get this site done.  I am trying to be happy, and indeed the game is speeded up quite incredibly.  However I am not sure yet as to whether the 'fun' has been taken out of the game.  Obviously as we go along we will make up house rules as we did for the old rules, but at the moment I am undecided.  Perhaps it is because we are so used to the old rules and have got too set in our ways, if so then I will have to admit to being old after all!!
However on the plus side when we fought the Imperial Guard (the thieving little so and so's stole our shrine), we stomped them so far into the ground they didn't need to dig graves!  So perhaps things will get better, and indeed with the codex life would be so much better, and would probably help me love this version as much as I did the former.
